Exactly! When I first read this story I was like, "WTF is wrong with these guys???" God. They deserve what they got.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that alcohol WAS a factor although I've been pretty pissed but only rarely felt the urge to stick my arm in a carnivore's mouth.
