Hmmm... Ya know, someone with a stunted sense of humour could view that as a threat. Something that I, unfortunately, have had personal experience with.

Ain't it though? And every Canadian responds to those first whistling notes like Pavlov's pups--except that we feel an irrepressible urge to bolt for the fridge, fill our cereal bowls and try to get back before the cartoons start again ...

Just purely for informational, innocent purposes, what if your purpose was to make a subtle threat, to shore up your position in a company that might just choose to downsize anyone they don't see as important, for example, a junior editor who works in the office equivalent of the kidneys?
(The kidneys being the bits no-one pays attention to unless the output stops).
