From Oregon Live:
Mallory Holtman is the greatest softball player in Central Washington history. Normally when the conference's all-time home run leader steps up to the plate, Pam Knox and other conference coaches grimace.What that dilemma was, and what her solution was, you should read for yourself, here.
But on senior day, the first baseman volunteered a simple, selfless solution to her opponents' dilemma.
And a tip of the helmet to Jesus' General, through whom I found the story.

Our local news carried this clip this morning. There are a couple of people who got kicked off of my recreational softball team who could learn from these girls. Winning isn't everything at all.
What a lovely story
Have you or Jesus's General thought of making it into a Film
@STTD:
Aaa-men.

I suspect it's already on YouTube or something.
Great story. It would have been more heart wrenching had they used her lifeless crippled "injured" leg to touch the bases instead of the "uninjured" one.
@pugs:
Ye-esss. Also knee-and-ankle-wrenching, possibly.
WOW
