But I digress ...

Sportspersonship

From Oregon Live:
Mallory Holtman is the greatest softball player in Central Washington history. Normally when the conference's all-time home run leader steps up to the plate, Pam Knox and other conference coaches grimace.

But on senior day, the first baseman volunteered a simple, selfless solution to her opponents' dilemma.
What that dilemma was, and what her solution was, you should read for yourself, here.

And a tip of the helmet to Jesus' General, through whom I found the story.

Our local news carried this clip this morning. There are a couple of people who got kicked off of my recreational softball team who could learn from these girls. Winning isn't everything at all.

What a lovely story

Have you or Jesus's General thought of making it into a Film

Great story. It would have been more heart wrenching had they used her lifeless crippled "injured" leg to touch the bases instead of the "uninjured" one.
