Those Poor People

Okay, so the fact that the floor collapsed at a church isn't funny. Nor is the fact that several people were injured, one severely. In fact, aside from the obvious (" That God--always playing those practical jokes on His Chosen People! What a mensch!") there's only one really funny thing about this.

It's not the picture itself--the picture isn't even right for the caption. However, in the caption there is potential for amusement, the description of the people present is priceless.

"Victims of a Christian rock concert ..."

Presumably there will be counselling afterward?

While we're at it--d'you suppose that person is getting much business for their "Chuch design"? Maybe in the Deep South ...

I can't think of a better term for a Christian rock concertgoer than victim. And that's when noone gets hurt!

No you're right, you shouldn't laugh.

but victims of a Christian Rock Concert were comforting each other? How? By gentle hugging and singing Kum-by-yah??

Not exactly Guns and Roses.

I want to know if, when Christian fundamentalists get an erection and have sex, they; apologise afterwards, think it is their divine right and so not worry about their partners orgasm (tis a womans duty to submit to her husband in all things), or do they just send the choirboy home?

It would have been great had the picture showed people with their hands waving in the air during the alleged attack by God...

Sometimes it's too ridiculous to cry. Like when that dude said that god hated black people so much he crashed a planeload of missionaries into them.

@pugs:
There's live video around somewhere. Presumably if this god person is ever brought to trial (he is, after all responsible for the deaths of some seven billion humans since the dawn of time) it will presumably be presented as evidence.
