Reminds me of an Army ROTC guy I knew in college who used to bash the other branches. His favorite to make fun of was the Chair Force, but I"m guessing the Navy was a close second.
@sttd Oh, the Canadian Forces are the same. Having worn the uniform of two elements, however, I feel uniquely qualified to comment. Particularly on the physical, mental, and moral failings of the third :-)

@Mur Yeah, I do see a bit of an issue in sitting around in what is essentially a well-sealed bathtub waiting for Iraq or North Korea to lob a missile at you.
Of course, if your homeland is currently going up against Switzerland, Malawi, or the Vatican, then the navy is the place to be!
