Art From Spam!
Darren Barefoot has a posting about a brilliant little online art project that uses comment spam to make art. I'd go read it, but I already did, so perhaps you'd like to.

It IS cool. I just suggested it to Wordpress.com, and it's the kind of thing they like, so they just might do it. WP.com bloggers won't be able to use it without the company doing some coding, but you ferinstance should be able to get it running in fifteen minutes or so. You just need to install Akismet.
I agree it's cool, but I don't see significant amounts of comment spam here.
Besides, what I'd really rather see is a website where, when it detects spam, they crate up a rabid wolverine and ship it to the spammer, COD. Or failing that, the spammer's ISP.
I think the world would appreciate that sort of creativity.
