There Are Advantages

To living in our valley paradise. For one thing Raincoaster's out of comission, so I can post this long before the Moist Maven spots it.

Possibly the first actual film of a giant squid.

Update: It's not. The first video of a giant squid was last year.

And a hat tip to Archie, who pointed out that a significant hazard of posting plastered is a failure to actually embed the link. It's fixed now.

RC will be offline both until her annual Christmas debauch is ended and in a blow for civilization (or possibly to) until they rebuild Vancouver following the recent windstorms.

Personally I think it's no co-incidence that the wrath of the gods struck Vancouver just after Mme and I left, but while Raincoaster was still around. Obviously we were the only thing holding them back.
